We've had so much rain this week that it has been the wetest August on record. We received 2 inches of rain yesterday in a matter of about 15 minutes. Everything was flooded. Our addition on the house has come to a soggy stop. We've been mopping up water in the kitchen for the past week. We will have to do some painting in the kitchen which we hadn't counted on. Ah well.

I'm glad you and Michelle are doing this trip together too. Now you have someone to share the ride and experiences with. Sometimes two minds are better than one at remembering details too. Oh, that's right you two are still young'uns what was I thinking?

Stay dry and enjoy the ride.

Love,
Aunt Jean

Hi from Norway. We too have had rain-lots of it. We were at the Lofoton Islands last night-the place you loved when here in 1993. We had heavy rain and fog, so unfortunately didn't see the great scenery. We know that you are now in a beautiful part of the west. Take lots of photos and let us see them on your great site.
love, mom and dad
